The Amazing Spider-Man (M) (Action Violence) [2012]

The Amazing Spider-Man is obviously a better quality movie than the original. The original Spider-man came out in 2002 and this re-make came out in 2012. This movie is the same as the original as the villains are involved with science.

 

In this movie Spider-man tries to save a child in the front seat of a car that is hanging from a web under the bridge. The bumper of the car is on fire and the child is too scared to climb out “how will he survive?” And there are a lot more bits when I thought “how will Spider-man do it?” And then I’d find out.  

My Mum thought the original is better she said “They still keep the same bits but move them around at totally different points in the movie.”  I told her “That is exactly what they do in remakes!”

This movie is more heart-pumping than Superman and is more intense than the original Spider-man. I would recommend 12+ but 10yrs and over could handle it pretty easy. I would rate this movie 7 ½ stars I enjoyed it in Blue-Ray 3D it kind of burns your eyes sometimes, but it depends sometimes you get over it sometimes you don’t.

Futurama Vs Simpson's

Futurama  VS. Simpsons

Futurama was from matt groening who designed the Simpsons. the Simpsons came out before futurama did and is kind of more well known.

Futurama has the same kind of content as Simpsons. Some Simpson’s episodes are ok and not bad and others are pretty iffy. there are Simpsons comics, TV seasons and a movie. futurama also hAS comics,seasons AND A MOVIE.

There are more Simpsons seasons than Futurama. I would suggest Simpsons is appropriate from 12+. Though there is some content that is over (M) rating.  I suggest a 13+ rating for Futurama. At JB-HI FI Futurama seasons are cheaper than Simpsons. My mum does not like some of the content in Simpsons and Futurama.

 

For the Simpson's I rate 8.5 out of 10

For Futurama I rate 7 out of 10

The Simpsons Tapped Out Game App for IPod, I Phone and I Pad

I really enjoy playing this game. ITunes have rated it as a really good game. There are lots of  fun pranks to do e.g. When it’s Halloween you get to throw eggs and toilet paper at houses and earn lollies to buy more things like Halloween characters.

I also like when you get to tap the zombies or zombie cats and blood spits and it sounds like (SSSSSSPEDSSSSS).

I find I really like it and I play it a lot. It may get boring for other children. It is better if your child is very patient as when you give people chores it sometimes takes 6min-3hr-6hr and sometimes 24hr.

I recommend 8+ or 9+ depending on your 8yr old.

SPIDER-MAN 3 VS. SUPERMAN RETURNS

Spider man 3 (M) (Moderate action violence) Superman Returns (M) (Moderate violence)

In my opinion Superman Returns is more entertaining for tweens than Spider-man 3.

Spider-man 3 is a good entertaining movie the moral of the story is that revenge is evil. There is a little romance in some bits which I find a little boring.

Super-man has a few themes such as smoking and drinking which is inappropriate for younger children. And there are a few disasters, at the end it is a little bit sad when superman dies but he still comes back. There is also a fight scene which is extremely rough; Superman is in pain as he had kryptonite stabbed up his back and was obsessively kicked.

One of the bits that I like was when one of the bad guys was playing the piano with a little boy and it was very impressive. And in Spider-man I really liked Peter Parkers boss at the Daily bugle he is funny and another guy at the daily bugle, though I forgot his name.

I give 5 ½ stars for Superman Returns and 4 stars for Spider-man 3.

And in my opinion Spider-man 3 is suited to 12+ and Superman Returns (13+).

Awesome! Astro boy is a total blast

In my opinion Astro boy movie is the perfect animated movie from 7 and up.

This movie is like a rehash of the Astro boy cartoon.

The Movie is about a robot boy who was created by a scientist called Tenma (Voiced by Nicolas Cage).

Astro Boy (Voiced by Freddie Highmore) has many hidden abilities such as super strength, x-ray vision, incredible speed and an ability to fly. He uses these abilities to help save the world.

The violence is not bad and this movie should entertain at any age.

I give this movie an 8/10.

Star Wars Episode 2

STAR WARS EPISODE 2: ATTACK OF THE CLONES (M) (Sci-fi violence)

This Movie is a great movie to see on blue-ray. I loved this movie. Note: This might be a little bit too violent for an 8yr old. There is a big chance of addiction and some of the romance gets a little boring. This movie appeals to a lot of boys. This may be because of the franchising.

The original version came out in 2002. In my opinion Episode V effects were better than Episode IV. And Episode VI has better effects than Episode V and the movies keeps getting better I-----2-----3.

I feel this movie is better suited to 10+ or maybe 9+.

In my opinion this movie has a good chance for entertaining an average kid between 9-11yrs.

And the quality on blue-ray is like 6 ½ out of 10.
